Resilience Skill

WHO AM I?

Ever since I was a child, sport has been a guiding light in my life. Although I've explored many disciplines, it's Handball that has captured my heart. Alas, injuries (les croisés tu connais) forced me to put this passion on hold during my youth in Paris. But in 2014, everything changed when I moved to the Vendée. That's when CrossFit® opened its arms to me, a sport still in its infancy in France at the time.

I was immediately charmed by the culture of self-improvement and the warmth of the community. I took part in competitions, including the Get Up contest, alongside what are now great athletes. My sporting journey continues today with the Viking Training community, where training takes place in the heart of my garage gym, in the company of my partner. Today, I train more for pleasure than for competition. Whereas I used to try to prove to myself that I was capable, now it's passion that guides me, not the quest for performance.

On the professional side, my training in multimedia visual communications and my role as a graphic and web designer for over a decade have deepened my love of creation. My foray into textiles began in 2008 with Ripcurl, and extended to the world of CrossFit® in 2014, where I designed collections for my box in La Roche-sur-Yon. Drawing on these experiences and my passion for sports textiles, Resilience Skill was born. Through this brand, I aim to merge my love for sport and my design expertise to offer innovative products, designed with dedication and passion.

A Story of Resilience

The name Resilience Skill was not chosen by chance. It embodies my own trajectory, punctuated by challenges, hardships and, above all, twists and turns. Each obstacle has taught me a valuable lesson, strengthening my determination and ability to rebuild, whatever the situation. Although I encountered major challenges in launching a first brand in 2016, the experience consolidated my resilience and strengthened my commitment to my passion.

Resilience is a quality that many athletes embody. Take Matthew Fraser, for example: despite a serious back injury at the age of 19, he has won the title of fittest athlete at the CrossFit® Games five times. These stories prove that limits are made to be pushed.

Resilience Skill is the fruit of this philosophy. We're proud to be the new French benchmark for sportswear and accessories, designed by and for passionate athletes.
